The Chataigneraie
Our offices are located in the southern Cantal in an area referred to as the Chataigneraie. This part of the Cantal acts as an axis between the Lot, Aveyron and Cantal departments. This geographic juxtaposition results in a diversity of both landscapes and property styles. The area is made up of a series of medieval villages set in rolling landscapes with deep gorges and valleys. The link will take you to a tourist site that provides a bit of background on the area :
The climate is agreeable and this is reflected in the nature of the people who are friendly and relaxed, the quality of life here really is tough to beat.
A more detailed area guide will be added to the site soon.
Activities
The area has much to offer with a series of lakes, a number of large rivers, rolling hillsides, a Volcano park and ski resort close by. Whether you want to sit and enjoy the view or climb a mountain this really is a fantastic area for people to enjoy nature at its best. The links below will provide some background on the volcano park and ski resort.
